I think the flashlight (if we ever get to see it) will be a very welcome addition to any P800 owner's set of tools. I don't think power consumption will be that high because you only need to attach it for a few seconds to shoot your picture then take it off again.

It is very dark here where I live so pictures tend to get a bit ... dark!

Its the T610's MPF-10 as described in
this thread. However you can't use it as a flash on the P800 but it does have a torch mode with the light on constantly so that may be usable for the P800.
Here is the manual for the MFP-10.

yeah... and of course the stroboscope will keep the clubbers happy since they lost the blue and green flashing lights in test mode on the T68i when they upgraded to T610!
