13 sec trick is more of a work-around than a bug. It is a way of defeating the automatic loading of files into ram from the phone's rom. The phone's basic instructions have time to load. The crap does not. The stuff is still on the phone and will re-load if you do a full master reset. He pot catch it just right you retain all the things you added. But then you can't get rid of the static opening. This usually requires multiple 13 sec or less resets. Phone appears unhurt. This message was posted from a T300
