theres alot of differnt types of "dead pixel" u can have ones that will invert the colour of what ever is being shown on the screen or 1 2 or 10 pixel's can be afected in one small area which can mean there was some thing hard had pushed down on the screen,

ive seen pixels that where allways blue, red ,green ive even seen one where the hole screen was purple, u could see everything on the screen like normal but only the colour purple was shown no other colours would work

Hmm I had the same kind of thing, only I think mine was dust.

I couldnt notice it with the backlight off, so i deduced it had to be dust. Sent it to SE and they exchanged it. Just note, that manufacturers find it normal that every screen will have one or two dead pixels. So try your luck to find non-annoying ones.

i've gone through two phones now, and the current ones have to small particles under the screen, one somewhat in the middle and another in the very bottom right hand corner. i dont think they are dead pixels, but just really small dust particles that you can see when the phone is turned off and you really look carefully under clear daylight or under a bright light. quite annoying as they weren't there in the beginning. i guess after numerous attempts of trying to put on the brando protector to be dust free, some of the dust has somehow penetrated inside. i dont know if i should return my phone and get a new one as the phone i have now is a lot better than my first one, better camera, loads applications faster, etc.

i have two questions:

when you have the flip off/down and are looking at the applications menu in "view as icons" and scroll down using the jotter on the up/down side...mine seems to stop after MIB2....but there are still two applications beneath, but it wont recognisse it unless you scroll down using the jog dial. anyone have the same problem?

when i use the jog dial in flip off/down by pressing frontwards sometimes there is a delayed response or no response at all. i have to press it a couple of times for it work. however when i press backwards it recognizes and is in sync. anyone have the same problem?

thanks in advance anyone.
