the softkeys don't work like yes and no. the no softkey doesn't do much, the key below the yes softkey replaces the no key.
the power buttons well i don't mind it if it works good, by that i mean that it doesn't shut down when you accidentely touch it. i don't like the new menu either, but what about the z1010? it was got 2 more softkeys below the joystick what are those good for?

Or failing that, if you've got a miniture paint brush or some Tipp-Ex you could always *write* yes and no on it....
I must say I approve of the on/off button thing as I usually hold down "no" on my t68i to get out of GPRS and I have accidentally turned it off a fair number of times.
The fact they are doing it to appease Nokia customers rankles a bit but I can see their reasons from a business point of view.
