You can use it with your p800, you can view anything on the internet with your built in browser using the wap data account. It doesnt include using opera or email as these apps need to connect directly to the server where the files your viewing are stored. access pack only includes connection to oranges wap portal, but you can access all web or wap pages on the internet through the portal. You will be charged £8 per mb for email and opera browsing. Hope this clears it up 4 you.

Guys!
Using the access pack you can only view WAP pages through the Orange WAP gateway you can't get out onto the Internet.
The P800 browser just lets you view WAP pages in HTML format.

All a wap portal does is fetch the data via http (the same as a web browser does) compresses it, and sends it to your phone. Anything stored on a http server (web server) can be accessed through the wap portal, that includes wml, html, pictures, anything.

hmm well i got the access pack last week after being on the 15mb GPRS option for 6 weeks.. ive now dropped down to the 4mb package for any net useage and use the 10mb on the access for the WAP useage.. im monitoring both via the gprs log.
i hope their are no nasty surprises lurkin coz it
is very confusing! if it is right though it beats paying £25/month plus VAT for useage when i can pay £4 for 10mb wap (free for 3 months) and £7 for the 4mb GPRS net.

was clearly told by orange wirefree that the 10mb was for access via orange wap gprs profile after complaint and was refunded the money for browsing through opera after stating that i was mis-sold the product.

"Other useful tip is to set the option to display a connection dialogue for you to confirm the choice of connection before connecting."
How?

go into any orange store (l have been to 3) and it cleary states access pack not on new p800 connectlons. On upgrades it is allowed but any sites visited NOT on there access control list charged @ standard gprs. Saw it clearly on the pricing matrix when I asked to see it.
