You need to put them in Media\\video\\ folder. Then select to file to run it. I use the P800 File Manager to select the .vic file which then autoruns the vics player. Not impressed with quality.

i did that bandwitch tester and it sayed my internet was 6mb LOL i only got 1mb nice player but the new firmware has a full screen player that playes MP4 films that there are encoders for which is nice but i know ile be useing both since i can download vic films over GPRS

Just incase anyone missed it - this is a beta release of VICS player, not an Official release.
It's still quite buggy for the time being.

ive downloaded the player off P800mail and some videos off another site but i cant get the player to recognize the videos,when i open it theres no videos and theyre in the VICSplayer directory

OK, here is what to do
Use the PC suite to transfer teh files to Memory Card/Documents/Unfiled.
Then use the File Manager for the p800 (free download) to move the files to D:/Media Files/Movies
You then need to click on the file in FileManager to play it. For some reason when you open VICS it does not show any files, I think it is because plans for their service is to pay to download movies via GPRS (and try to be like utchinson with 3), but I am not sure as the software is only BETA.

Use the native browser app not Opera as you cannot view wap pages with Opera.
You'll find all these programs available for download in a special link for P800 applications.
