From my experience, 99% of sellers from Romania are FRAUDS.

Wow.!!! this is heights. at the time when i got conned with this 7deuce i had another seller from romania trying to seel me p800 for 400 dollars and then when emailed him suddenly his acution dissappeared from ebay. he replied saying somebody had promised to buy all his phones and subsequently refused it . he then shot me an email saying that he was selling one for $300. He insisted he was based in US but the money had to sent to romania. When i asked him couldnt i send it to him thru escrow or paypal and he could send the same to romania he replied well he couldnt. I was sure he was conning me and i decided to go with the 7deuce . Littl did i know he was conman himself..

I am so desperate to get a p800 but not sure how as US resellers are out of stock.!!!

I also almost got conned from a guy saying he was in Romania on business. This was a guy selling his phone on www.freeads.co.uk.

Emailled him a few times but I thought the deal sounded dodgy so i just ignored him in the end!

Good job by the sounds of it!!

Anyone kno why these ppl choose romania?? Or is it all the same guy??

Actually Ebay is a nice place to shop, if you are careful enough.
For expensive stuff, like P800, I usualy find a seller that I can do a pick up.
You can also see the feedback, mostly they received lots of positive feedbacks from buying not selling. I usualy find a seller with more than 5000 positive feedbacks from selling, although that's not a guarantee.
So far I've bought a notebook, a cellphone and other stuff as well, so far so good tho, but I bought my P800 at Sony Metreon SFO.

The funny thing if you try to find P800 at ebay, there are lots of people email you afterwards, saying that they have a P800 for 500, some even lower than that.. like 400
Then they want you to transfer the money via Western Union, hehehe they are really bastards, because they know that western union doesnt provide you with the buyer protection refund, so I emailed them saying.. ok you send you stuff first, after I receive it, I'll pay

and my last experience was this.. there was a seller in Hayward selling P800, and she put it on ebay, saying that she would sell it for 600, since she lives in hayward, I told her that I would buy it and do the pick up, she said if you paid by cash, she would sell it for 575, but the weirdest thing of all was.. she didn't has the stuff she told me I had to wait for a week.. and that was really stupid.

all I can say is just be careful

There are quite a few of these sellers on phoneauctions.com too. This one guy said he was in Romania but was British (as I am I suppose) but he kept using terms like 'write me' and 'wire me money'.

That gave it away straight away, so it's alwasy good to email them and check their language style.

Always buy from the reputable and reliable sellers ... I can recommend a few like me Ebay ID: bargin_hunters2002

But I am not selling anything just now.

If you read :

If in doubt, do not bid... maybe put a post here and we will help u check it out
