Ok People! Let me sort it once and forever:
O2 PayAsUGo- i`ve got sim card for free- theyre first offer of free Sim Card 2years ago. 300 Free text messages per month and ulimited Wap under reasonable conditions of course)
Since GPRS came up i have rang them many times but without luck because this offer was made only for contract customers. Then finally they have made it available on Pay as You go, (GPRS i mean). So last time i`ve rang them they`ve enabled my Sim card for GPRS and MMS( 8 months ago or so). Since then i`m using this free service without any problems. Now -E-Mail on GPRS CAN! be checked! but only if u`ve got O2 e-mail account (example-
asskicker@o2.co.uk)
Below are the settings from my mobile phone:
Options(last button on the right top side of the screen__Tools__Control Panel__Messaging Accounts__E-Mail Accounts__
Press New or Edit
Insert following under " BASIC FOLDER":
Account name: *******@o2.co.uk (Ur full e-mail address)
Your Name: whatever name u use that people know you
E-Mail Address: *******@o2.co.uk (***-ur username)
Connection type: POP3
Internet Account: O2 Wap GPRS
Insert following under "INBOX FOLDER":
User name: your full E-mail address
Password: your password for this E-Mail adddress
Incoming Server address: mail.o2.co.uk
Download: I`ve choosed "No Restrictions", its totally up to u what u choose here!
Insert following under "Outbox Folder":
Outgoing server address: mail.o2.co.uk
Use SMTP authentication: DO NOT TICK!
Insert following under " Advanced Folder":
Secure connection: DO NOT TICK!
Outgoing mail port: 25
Use MIME encoding: TICK THIS BOX
Incoming mail port: 110
Secure password authentication: DO NOT TICK!
Press :"DONE"
Thats it- should work like a charm.
Now- unfortunately with O2 Pay AS You Go Sim Card u cannot check BTopenworld e-mail account same way (i`ve tryed many different settings). But u still can check it online thru the o2 wapsite under "communications" _"e-mail"
About the opening wap pages- i`m able to open any wap page + Html (full internet pages) if theyre Java written. Thats about 80% of total amount of pages around the globe.
Settings for GPRS and MMS can be easily found on
www.o2.co.uk. Here we go:

Hope that will solve out your problems!
Respect.

I`ve called O2 customer care...but the only thing- theyve gaved me special phone number chargeable at J1.00 p/m.
Anyway- if u`re GENIE! customer- ask from them (o2 CUSTOMER CARE) phone number of Genie support.
Also, if the`re no help- ask NIGHTCARE e-mail address. Why? because by E-Mail theyre helping a lot, just make sure ull explain the situation in full, also tell them what mobile phone u have, tell them about the problem as much as u can. Answer will be sent during 5 working days. I don`t remember customer care phone number but u can find it by calling 192.
Hope this will help!
P.S.: If u`re staying with them for long time- REMIND THEM that u`re valued customer!!!
And badaway- i`m man..lol
