i think this delivery report thing suggested by derkis is for the emails and not for sms.

What I was hoping for was delivery reports as on the t68i.
ie always on, and the report changed an icon for the message you sent (from an envelope with a cross to an envelope with a tick if i remember) instead of another message as is currently the case - with my p800 anyway

I did a search and found this old thread hoping it would answer my question before i had even asked it.... But i was wrong.... So i thought rather than start a new thread i'd bring this old one back to life!
So here's my question!
I'm using my P900 on orange in the uk. I was wondering if there is a way that i can perminantly have my delivery reports turned ON, rather than having to open the flip and select it as an option each time i send an sms, because it's normally 2seconds after i've sent the message that i remember the report option!
Is this something that has been changed in the new firm ware update?
Please someone.... Anyone?:-?
Burgaz.

I did some research on this dude...(i work for Orange too). Unfortunately there is no permanent option to activate the delivery reports on the Orange version of the p900. I cannot speak for other network branded phones though.
Hopefully the P1000 (next year) will have this feature!!

Fairly sure Vodafone UK enable delivery reports on Px series. I think I used the system with my P8....by selecting the "recipients" tap with the flip open and then selecting delivery report on. Does that mean those who can't send delivery reports don't have the option on their Px's or just that the network doesn't seem to support them? Can anyone else with a Vodafone Px00 confirm this??
