I have a P800- have had it for years (at least 5)
In a recent move from the Caribbean to the South Pacific, the screen got cracked, I replaced it and have been using the phone for 2 years with no problems since then.
Just recently my battery went funky (after years its the original) and I bought a new one. Tossed out the old one, put the new one in, charged it up and turned on the phone. It worked for about 2 months and then one day after a recharge, the phone boots up to the Sony Ericcson Splash Screen and thats it- everything freezes at this point.
I plug it onto my base which is USB connected to the PC and it doesnt connect, I cannot find any other way of reset for this unit at this point.
Touchscreen or nothing works. All I can do is turn the phone ON/OFF
Is there any way to reset this sucker otherwise, or is it basically crapped out on me?
