Having used compatible batteries in the past I wouldnt hesitate if I needed a new one in fact for £16-20 I think I might buy one as a spare. Ericsson have already had enough of my money, and if it breaks the phone I will send the t68 back/claim on the insurance. They cannot prove you used a non standard battery

I have used one of these alien batteries once for my T28 and it messed up with the internal circuits or something and the guy at the service dept of the shop I bought my T28 told me that I was really lucky that it didn't completely whacked my phone. I would strongly recommend that you buy the original battery no matter the cost, since theres no chance it messes up with your phone - and is covered by the warranty as well in chance this happens.
