i have already connected it thru infrared, cos the syncstation wont work.... and about the antivirus off ... i did not try it, because im using my dad's comp..., tnx anyway... tnx for all ur help, is there anyway that i can activate a password for my p800 files on the pc????

ok,
right-hand mouse click on the phone connection link icon in your system tray (wavy line) and check to see if USB is listed there. It should say connected if it is working properly.
if USB is available but not working then i'd check that my phone is sitting on the docking station properly.
i've had to muck about with it for ages in the past to get it to sit properly so that the phone connects ...

PC Suite version 1.5.1 (and also 1.4.2) do work with Win 98. However, the drivers you download from SE website do not seem to work. You will have to use the drivers on the CD that came with the phone. They are in folder 98_ME (or ME_98) under the folder that contains the drivers for your deskstand.
