I think there is some confusion about the use of a camera in mobile phones. This is after all no digital camera. If you want excellent picture quality buy a digital camera. The phone cameras do a good enough job for what they are supposed to do: taking pictures for MMS, Backgrounds or as small mail attachment.

All cameras make some fisheye effect because of the lens. In standard cameras U dont notice the effect but it is there, I promise! It is just the way it is.....
