I have the same problem with my T610 but with a HBH-30, crackling noise and hissing. The headset works just fine with my friends T68i so it has to be my phone that causes the problem.
Maybe SE needs to fix all the BT units togheter with the hissing, guess the service centers will be busy for quite some time
