I think you are asking for to much. You want a product that's 1-2 (or even more) years away from us....

maybe ur expecting too much for phone. i mean u have to admit that it is the most advantace phone in the market. battery life is great compared to other colored phones. i surf over gprs for 8hrs a day with just one charge (since globe ph gprs is free). my p800 last up to 3days on standby. can iPod take pictures? can a clie make calls? can a gameboy play mp3s? and can a pc fit in your pocket? the p800 was designed to take the features of those devices (not necessarily improving them) and places them at the palm of your hand. those other devices are only made to do one task This message was posted from a P800

Yeah I want a product that is in the future.

But just because this phone is the most ADVANCED phone does not make it either the BEST phone or the BEST VALUE phone.

after all, what is the point of advanced features if they dont work reliably or practically?

I just was out and tried to read news.google.com ... i got an error "the DNS record of this type is not available" ... (after waiting a minute). So basically in my cell, or my area, some part of gprs (dns servers?) went belly up, and nobody cares. You think t-mobile customer support will care if I call them?

That is my point. There is no reason to add a bunch of features if they are not implemented properly, or not supported properly, or they are too slow, or too expensive.. its like the dog that stands on its hind legs. Everyone claps, but its kinda useless, day to day...

Actually, i have all of the devises named, and they all have a better specified function than any phone the is out. If i get a phone, i wouldnt get it for that! Duh! A phone is to make calls, with extra functions, not to play games in the subway with. I would definately not play photo shoot with that phone. ;-) This message was posted from a T68i

Every advanced feature i use works perfectly for me. eg. surfing, video, mp3, games etc...

but, you can't expect the features of a desktop pc in a mobile phone...
i don't think that will never happen...

When will people realise that the P800 isn't the most advanced anything, its a beginners tool: a beginners organiser, a beginners MP3 player, a beginners internet, etc... I've never had any of these things before and can't afford them all individually, so l'm over the moon with it, if u want something state-of-the-art get a dedicated piece of kit. Can you actually have something dedicated to several things. I thought you had a dedicated mp3 player or a dedicated pda. This message was posted from a T300

Personally, i'd rather have one thing (eg. the P800) that can do lots of things ok (but not perfect), that having my pockets full of gadgets...
