Please tell me about these "serious software problems". I actually own a T610 and know of no software problems that have been found which have prompted an SE recall. Yes there is the hissing problem, but the phones haven't been recalled, and its a hardware problem, not software. I wont be sending my T610 for repair becaus the hissing can hardly be heard.

As for the T68/T68i issue, it was a one-off, and the reasons people give for the release of the T68i are correct!! SE realised that the T68 was a killer phone and decided to re-release it to include the MMS software that Ericsson didnt bother to include in the original T68 (due to lack of network support at the time). It was done so that SE would have a great phone on the market using the SE branding. I cant think of any other point in time where either Ericsson or SE have re-released a phone like Nokia do. Yes..SE may include extra features such as IM software in a future firmware upgrade, but I can't see why they would bother releasing it as a "new" phone with just an "i" on the end of the model number like they did with the T68i. It makes no business sense at all.

Sorry, mate! On the website it quite clearly says that the T610 is not supported as it has no "socket support".

My T637 Came with a Java IM client (Supports AIM/ICQ and a 3rd extremely unpopular protocol), written by OZ Communications. I'd gladly extract the software and post it, but I have no idea how.

I don't think its possible as they don't allow you to send java or mophun apps or games from the phone.
