a) Masking tape up your keys and the bottom of the phone, in case any NV runs - you don't want that inside your phone!

b) Take cotton bud/q-tip/whatever you call them, dip in nailvarnish remover or bottle of acetone, then rub up and down the logo with loads of pressure.

c) Keep doing for 15+minutes!

d) Eventually, you'll see some parts of the logo start to fragment and come off - just keep rubbing at it until it's all gone, replacing NV remover when it evaporates. You can dig your nail into the end of the cottonwool bud if you need more direct pressure, without it scratching the casing.

That's it, practice on that T68i now if you want!

contact the service provider who should unlock it for a fee of about £20. i contacted vodafone for my brother and they emailed me back asking for a charge of £20 so i assume orange will be more of less the same.

Ah, maybe i should've posted here what i posted on whatmobile.net earlier - T610 unlocking now available;

http://www.logosunlimited.co.uk - (Steve)- send in for £15, logs done in next day or two (remotely from your computer with a T28+ cable) for £10 i believe.

http://www.unlockingshop.co.uk -(Jon)- send in for £22.

http://www.dvds2000.co.uk -(Colin)- has facilities to do it now via remote or send-in, but isn't currently. May allow you to send in soon, don't think is going to do remotely unless you have a batch of 10 to do at once.

And thats all i know of so far, folks. Still no physical mobileshop in London seems able to do it, but the above three are all reputable. Sent mine into logosunlimited as they were the first back to me saying they could do it immediately - but I've happily used DVD's several times, and Jon is a regular member of uk.telecom.mobile and is highly regarded too.

Top line of www.unlockingshop.co.uk:

"SonyEricsson T310 / T610 unlocking - £20.00 including return postage. Download and print this form to send your phone."

and on http://www.logosunlimited.co.uk/unlocking.htm you'll see the T610 in the table.

But i conversed with all three people by phone and email anyhow - so even if their site didn't show any information, you'd best email them and ask about it.
