Ta Nick, that'd be great - and discounts certainly wouldn't hurt either

Yes - please let us know about the full firmware flash.... I'm sure you'd have a run of people from here with crappy TMobile and Voda T610s !

yeah I got my T610 that I got from Voda for free as an upgrade at Mobile X Change. Done by Nick himself. It was very quick. Didnt even take 5 minutes and he also wrote the codes down for me and showed me the phone working with T-Mobile SIM. All this for £20. Great service. You should all get yours unlocked there.

Just to sum up:
Nick can turn a
Vodafone T610 into a
regular T610, without the Voda crap and with the SE icons & themes and stuff back???
If it it so, I take a Eurostar 2mrw morning to get that done!!! (even more so that mine is a german Voda

)
___________
I dream of a Vodafone-free T610...

Don't jump on the train just yet!

As far as i know, they've still not got it working successfully. I'll drop into the shop in the next day or two to see if there's been any progress!

@arwafarwa: Re-read Riflogic's post again - he didn't say that he got a Voda T610 from mobileXchange - he said that he got his T610 (which was free on Voda upgrade) UNLOCKED by them. They're more a repair/SIM free shop, not so much a contract dealer - though yes, they are also technically a T-mobile agent too.

Hi!
I've just ordered a Sony Ericsson T610 (T-mobile) from Germany, and I wonder what the difference between this and an "ordinary" T610. Is it only the icon in the main menu and the logo on the front cover?
I'm also getting the software changed, so I get norwegian language(menus, wordlist etc.). Do you think the T-Mobile-things will go away after that upgrade?
