You can get rid of the customised Voda icon by getting the phone flashed at a service centre, and tell them you want the Standard T610 SW, NOT the Voda settings.
My P800 had all the Voda shite and I got it flashed and bingo all the customisation has gone, I have a T610 as well and they have been removed.

Not that there's no way, just that it's hard - i've posted in another thread about this. It seems that the customisations on on the ROM with the IMEI etc - which is NOT touched during the normal flashing proceedure. My service centres do not have separate firmware flashes for VOda, Orange, T-mobile etc - they just have the standard firmware, which they flash to all phones. Since the customisations are on the other ROM, they do not get affected and remain after the standard flash.
However, if you can get someone to flash the IMEI ROM, you can remove customisations. There's someone looking into this at my local phoneshop at the moment, and i believe someone in an Scandanavian country got his friend to do this to a LIVE! phone - took him about 4-5hours, as he was originally expecting just to do a standard flash, like everyone assumes you can, before finding he had to get much deeper into the phone to remove it.
If anyone can refute this by showing removed Voda customisations on a Live phone, just from a standard flash, then i'm sure everyone will be very pleased. However, i've talked to three SE service centres about this, as well as several 'unofficial' repair teams, one of who are going to try the removal from a Voda UK handset soon. They all say the above.

will these corrections also get rid of all the buttons to access live! ? for example, the shortcut key on the 'desktop' on the right?

If you can get the Voda customisations removed, the links to LIVE will go too, yes. The right side key will take you to your homepage with default connection (so will still be LIVE if you want it to be, but if you change the default WAP profile to something else, it'll be that), as will the UP joystick. The right softkey will become the 'More' options menu, including quick access to BT, IR, post note, phone status and profile change.
