The person at Orange you spoke to was not correct, Orange have NO SUCH POLICY you use what phone you want, they set my p800 up for internet LONG before they sold the p800 themselves, you were told wrong.. This message was posted from a P800

Once again, just to repeat and to make it simple:

- I have MMS set up on my Orange account.
- I have all MMS settings set up on my non-Orange T610 and MMS doesn't work (however, GPRS works).
- Orange CustSup told me I won't be able to use MMS because the phone I am trying to use is non-Orange.
- They didn't comment on other services working fine.

Is this another Orange CustSup mistake?
Or is it a policy?

BTW, they increase their overseas tariffs from 1 July - nobody seems to care! And it was one of the top reasons I joined the bloody fruit in the first place... =((

2: Rav520 - good idea... =)

OK, I've tried my luck once again with Orange Customer Support - no way. They stick to their nonsense - it is not an Orange handset, so you will not be able to use it.

To those of you, who see Orange point in all this - I AM A CONTRACT CUSTOMER PAYING MY CONTRACT CHARGES - what's the difference which handset I use, I still cover my Orange handset from my subscription!?!?

Complained to Oftel - let's see what they can tell.

Probaly the same girl i spoke to when i had a problem with my gprs, useless, i have complained but only recieved auto-replies. I called up again and the guy i spoke to was cool and had it sorted in seconds. It's just pot luck whether you get through to some one who knows what their talking about keep trying. Orange want you to have mms, so they can charge you 50p a message This message was posted from a T68i

Not sure what number you have been phoning but if its 150 try going through to data support they are much better think the number is 156 they just deal with this post of stuff This message was posted from a T68i

In no way are 156 better than 150, they are just more specialised, ask them about anything other than fax and data, and I guarantee you can count on one hand the number of seconds it takes for them to transfer you to 150 or elsewhere.
