Yes I get the flicker as well, and sometimes its so back it makes the phone look a bit cheapass. Like people have said, its more noticebale when charging the battery and playing games.
Its definately not the refresh we are seeing. Its more like the backlight is "pulsing".

^Indeed, it is the baclight 'pulsing'...
If you start a game and watch the progress bar going across, you should notice the pulsing.
Tis irritating but nothing major. Hope SE fix it...

okay guys this is what i noticed,
when charging, its the current/charges that affect the performance of the backlight. something like interference. just like you place your mobile right next to your monitor when receiving calls or SMS.
as for playing of games, only J2ME games does make it flicker. Java sucks that's why it flicker because its s.l.o.w... not with mophun games that i play. only Java games.

Its not just when charging though. I get the pulsing at just about any time. I notice it when playing any Mophun/Java game, and even moving between menus.

I've recently got my T610, and noticed it pulsating while charging. kinda annoying really as no other phone i've got/had does anything of the sort... and the hissing.. sooo bad...

When the screen is blackened, you can see some ripple moving...
It's normal for games to flicker...

So according to SE is this a problem or is it meant to be like that? Will there be a fix to it, or will the people who get irritated from the flickering have to suffer with it, like we do with the accending ring tone!

Fixing it?
That would mean to change the refreshing rate of the screen, and further more, to replace the screen and controling unit...
