I have heard that the Panasonic GD87 doesn't have too bad a camera.

Also when you talk about best camera, are you question which has the largest resolution, greatest focal range, fastest response time, accuracy in colour...?

Since many people ask this question of which is the best cam-phone, would it not be an idea if someone who had this kind of information to post up a list of phones for each of the above criteria or any others that may be of importance.

for me resolution or Mega Picels of the cam built-in is not a factor. as long as the pics is good enough for MMS. i wonder how much it will cost you to send a 640x480 image in the MMS.

I just want a phone with a good camera, because the mobile phone is a device I bring with me almost everywhere. And there are moments in life when you just want to take your camera out and make a picture (for example, as someone said, of an arse ) So, buying a digital camera is not a solution for me. I asked if only P800 can make pictures in 640x480, because I would like to have the pictures on my PC. And last, here in my country we do not have MMS and GPRS , and I won't use the phone in this way. Thanks to everybody for their help.

Is there any information about Siemens SX1's camera?

gd87 is good, better than the sharp gx10, but as a proper phone, the panasonica isnt too good, texting is a nightmare, its very pretty though

Sagem My-X6 has the best mobile phone camera outside of Japan.
It uses a 310k pixel camera which is the same as the 3650/7650, but the X6 uses a CCD lens, producing far sharper images than the CMOS lens of Nokia's or the P800.
