So the only time you're vulnerable it's when you're sending the key to pair devices.
Once you've paired the key isn't sent anymore and the data is encrypted, right?
Since bluetooth works (nowadays) within 10m, just stay sharp to see if there's anyone around you, and if you suspect something just don't send any key.
