I can't check for you as mine is unblocked but according to the instruction manual for my t68i it says \"insert sim\" if there is no sim present. He you got sim error then it could be broken. Even if it is broken it may be repairable. Hope this helps

It's a grey one! Theres a guy at my work who said he would like to swap it for his t68i cos the grey one is the one he wanted in the first place, and he thinks the baby blue one is too gay! Thats fine with me, lol

i picked it up at lunchtime from the police station
i've tried a few sims with no luck though, it either says searching constantly, or sim locked, plus the joystick is very dodgy and the bluetooth won't work with anything.
does anyone know how much new cover & joystick would be, plus unblocking / unlocking, and software upgrade?

Have you tried going into 'connect' from menu screen,then 'gsm networks',then search the network manually(search mode)?????
