No idea what the software version of the old one was. All that matter was that it was a 03W19 a the bloody thing hissed.
@ pawanr I thought the cam seem slightly better too.
@ Nockey I did not upgraded it I changed it for a new one

To answer yr question, the T610 release 03w19 comes with firmware R2C, I bought it @ Kuala Lumpur (a Tchoice Model) during a business trip to Malaysia on May 27th, it has a slight hiss, will be buying another T610 tomorrow, hopefully a hissles model, what should I look for! Rgds JulioG
