My P800 did something really weird tonite any ideas about what happened, the screen showed a flashing yellow triangle containing an exclamation mark (!) and then the picture switched to a picture of the side of the phone showing the on/off button and a clock showing ten minutes. it wouldn't switch on/off or anything. It only stopped when I took out the battery, then was working fine, any ideas what this was.
I ask I am still having problems connecting my P800 to my computer so can't afford to lose all my data

The day after I bought my p800 I left it on charge over night and it wouldnt switch on in the morning, I sent it back to SE and they said it was a faulty battery and sent it me back. 3 days later the phone wouldnt call out and had no network written on the screen so I sent it back yet again.
Aparrently sony ericsson havent trained the engineers in my nearest service centre (20 miles away) to fix p800's yet so I sent it away to the manufacturers to be repaired, I havent seen my phone for 3 weeks so far.
I'm Gutted

I know the feeling, i took my p800 to my closest service center that is run by my service provider to upgrade my firmware, and they looked dumbfounded and then explained that, my phone was the first p800 they ever got in for service, and they dont have the software or the certification to do it yet??? like what the hell you guys doin sellin these phones for in the first place then??? "duh well they are still new" i said ummm, NO!!! they have been out for a while now, just never you mind, i will come back in 3 or 4 months.

Had the same problem. Basically, my P800 just kept slowing down and seemed ready to crash. I did the 10 second power shutdown trick. But it didn't want to reboot. I took off the battery, placed it back on, rebooted and luckily everything was back to normal. Only happened once, thank god.
