totally agree, i work for Comet and we have the right to call the police if someone is bad mouthing the company in or immediately outside the store. and the company can press charges if they want to be an arse (apparently).
as for refunds i don't know what their policy is but you are right on the statutory rights (and they can wait 48 hours (i think) to get an engineer to look at a phone for faults) and by law they have to tell you about the distant selling act over the phone or on the website.
Company's have loads of rights don't they!!!
