Please publicise this to SE if you can then Sid, it would be useful as when I spoke with them yesterday they said that it was not a known issue and when I mentioned a number of people suffering with it here I was told that all sorts of rumours start on the internet.
FWIW I had the T610 crash this morning when I tried to hang up a call using Bluetooth. I couldn't get the phone to reboot with either the power key or any keys on the front panel, I had to remove the battery.
I don't think this is related to the Bluetooth audio problem though, my T68 was a bit unstable originally and needed firmware updates to sort it out.

I have had static with my t610 and bluetooth headsets moto hsw800 and a hbh30, i originally thought it was the headsets til i paired them with a t68 and s55, and there was no static. Currently seeing what celestica will do for me seeing as they fixed the handset hiss but cracked my lens.
