suppose that depends on the user.
For me it really helps. all the shortcuts i need, a quicker option for closing instead of waiting at least 1 min (and you dont need to use a code to re open), the clock on screen is mistery why SE didnt have it standard, and the 'close app' option has doubled my battery by removing the background apps left open when you close them.
I much prefer it to handy day.

I've got a trial of Handy Day and think its great... I HAD a trial of Tracker...and deleted it!
And funnily enough, the thing I found most annoying on tracker was that when it was on screen lock you couldnt see the time!!! Stupid, I know, but that was the last straw. Besides, I also didnt need a 100 applications available to me at once!
BUT, the trouble I found with both TRACKER and HANDYDAY was that when the screen lock is off or on (with the flip removed), and the phone is in your bag, pocket, or wherever else you may keep it, because the screen is touch sensitive all over, even the slightest contact the screen has with the inside of pocket, bag etc causes the light to come on - this in turn runs your battery out in a matter of hours (as I found to my cost just a few weeks ago!)
Since then, I leave the normal keypad lock on (still with flip removed)
Anyways, seems like we've all drifted off the main topic, but I will try removing the dodgy entries and re-enter them tonite. Hopefully this will combat the fault of friends ID not showing on screen...

Yeah never spotted that option. And i dont think Tracker is a must have program. I d/l the trial and i didnt think much of it.
Have you used 1.0 tracker or the new version? Because I didn't liked the 1.0 version but I bought the new one

@mmsman: I bought tracker, but I'm still yet to get the code for it - it's almost been a month and my second install of tracker will expire soon
I've asked them support questions, and they always reply, but whenever I ask for my code it seems to fall on deaf ears - I have asked persistently but there's nobody listening.
I might have to take it up with my CC company soon
