Don't think Orange will have messed up the bluetooth... Imagine the uproar that would cause! Bluetooth is one of the marketing points for the T610.

I realise it is a top marketing point for the phone - but given the hissing problems and the fact that alot of people have reported crackle and pop (not snap though !

) with a number of different headsets -i'd love to know from someone who had tried it !

Just tested it out with my Orange T610 and jabra bt200 and it works perfectly - crystal clear.
Oh and mine is 03W24 and I is either R3B or R9A - it says R3B just under the battery contacts on the first line and R9A at the end of the first line.

I happened to be in a local shopping centre this afternoon and happened to be walking past an Orange shop...
I happened to go in and ask about the t610. To my surprise I was told they had it in stock - a quick inspection verified their stock to be 02w23r2b... excellent I thought ... but I wonder how much...
They offered me one for 79.99 on yourplan 200 (30 quid /month)
and offered me 50 quid cashback on any working phone ...
I'm leaving in a nokia 5110 tomorrow.
I also get 120 texts/month and 3 months free wap access - so I made a rash decision and bought one.
So far so good - its not exhibiting the 'quiet' problem of the 03w19r2e from Carphone Warehouse and I cant really detect any hiss either.
Only really spent an hour fooling with it so far but it seems to be a nice piece of kit. My only niggle so far is I tried to download free ringtones from the Orange web site and the phone crashed twice - other wap pages seem fine.
Will post more detail when ive used it a bit more...
