i'm using xp prof. and yet again i cant get it to connect. i've reinstalled v1.51 sync software. rebooted. turned off anti virus software. and still it wont connect.aaargh. what can i do????

I have exactly the same problem.ACtually inmy computer(xphome) it works just fine i put the phone on the cradle and it conneccts instantly.right now i'm on vacation and i have some problems so i tried to connect to another pc(xp pro).BUT it never conncts it is just saying connecting and never connects.i've tried everything but nothing yet.its not a faulty device cause in my pc it connects!

I have taken it to a se repair center and they couldn't repair it so they gave me a new one with new guarantie.
PS: Did anybody noticed that the new p800 has a more unpolished casing and a ribbed back (inside) probably for cooling and the jogdial works better

When my P800 doesn't connect (using XP Pro) which is pretty regularly, I just take it off the cradle & try again. I've also found that closing Explorer and reopening it & try to explore sometimes gets it going. I actually have been
a lot more lately, & now that l have P800 Proximity Connecter (which connects my P800 via BT whenever it's in range) I think that I'll only use the cradle for backups.
