This problem with "Invalid Mobile" I had it a few times on my t68i after i had my sim card updated on t-mobile, switched the phone off pulled the battery and have'nt seen this problem since. Now have T610 works fine too. The problem to my understanding was with the network and not the phone, as at the local phone shop alot of people had the same problem with T-mobile, they all had phones replaced and the problem was still there, one guy had 9 phone in 4 months as he could'nt use his phone. So if you know the phone works fine keep it..

@ac. In future, please read post's fully. You commented on just the 1st line of my post, thus taking it out of context. I mean that the operator the prev guy spoke to said that it seemed the last two digits of the imei was causing the problem, but that is not the case.
Also you went on about just the hlr being corput. I said there are "3 main reasons" I never said they are the only ones. Just pointed out the top three.
So please dont go off on a power trip. I was just offering my help and experience

Yeah, I got the invalid mobile error twice already. Has anyone figured out how to solve this? If its because of stolen or black listed phone, then why is it that the phone can still be used after a simple power off and on again? That doesn't make sense.
I'm using the 64k sim card. Never encountered this problem on my old NOkia.

My girlfriend had the same problem with a sagem myx5 on t-mobile, the problem was she had one of the old sim cards they seem to operate on a slightly different voltage, since she got it changed for a newer sim card the problem has gone.
Now we both have T610's and no problems.
We are both on t-mobile.

I live in Tenerife and am Spanish Vodafone, my new T610 done it once about 2 days after buying it, its never done it again !!!!!!
