yeah, I have whinged at SE for that a couple of times. I said either let us do it ourselves or allow more high street shops to have the facilities.

That may be the release date of blue & red T610's; with the new firmwares... Maybe the new firmware has socket (???) support and on the
site they will say that only on the blue & red versions of the T610 java apps can use GPRS connections (Like they do with MCA-25; They say that it works with the T68i but doesn't use the effects and the zoom)...
By the way, did anyone manage to enter html sites using webviewer?
I did!!!

But it is really no good using it, since most websites are rather big, and the memory in T610 so small I have problems opening alot of websistes.

Some can, some can't (Instant Messaging, etc.)... Just because of that Oyun Parki (www.oyunparki.com, a Turkish site for Java games) changed their way of buying games. The game used to connect to wap for the first time and gave you a trial period, after 3 days you had to buy it from the game menu. Now, when you open the game for the first time, there is a code and you send it with SMS to the number it writes on there... After you receive the code you have to enter, you open the game again, you enter the code and you can play the game normally... They changed the way of purchasing games after the games for T610 came out on that site...

Software and firmware in regards to these discussions is the same thing however firmware is generally embedded software which controls the operation of a device and which cannot easily be changed by a user. Software is more the algorthmic logic involved in performing a task to achieve a result.
