just last night i started having the problem with freezing. it'd be in standby mode, id look at the time and it would be 1/2 an hour behind, then id see it was frozen (no status lights blinking, no keypad lighting up after pressing buttons) so today I took it down to the AT&T store (lucky i am within 7 days of my 30-day exchange period!!!) and the [kinda cute] AT&T lady told me she had the same problem with her T68i, and told me i could swap phones out.
im currently trying to restore all the stuff i had on it via bluetooth...
this must be T68 Expiration day...

This sounds symptomatic of SIM/phone losing connection, albeit briefly.
I had this problem, and just got a new SIM from my serivice provider...
