I have also had some scary moments when my phone didn't turn on.
But when I pulled out the battery and waited for a few secs everything was fine.
I am running R1D.

I have not had any triangles/crashes since upgrading to R2F. What software do you have installed? I noticed that while I was on R2D my P800 would crash once a weekif i had HandyDay installed. Once i switched to Tracker 2.0 i have not had a single crash.

Bloody P800! I've been on holiday here and have about 2 weeks of pictures on my P800 and now its refusing to turn on! When I switch it on, it plays the start up video then switches itself off! I'm on R2F.

there are so many problems with se phone, but we are still buying them.
even if se have any new software, i don't think i want to upgrade the software of my t630, it is too risky. my brother's t610 can't log any incoming, outgoing, and missed calls after he upgrade.
i hope se do something about their mistakes...too many frustrating and nerve recking mistakes...arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
damn it!!!

Sony have a real problem with software development, I suspect poor testing and low paid programm teams! In my experience allmost all Sony consumer product software is memory and processor hungry and tricky to use with quirkey UI's.
I had a P800 and had many many problems syncronising it with MS Outlook e.g entering an appointment on the P800 would not guarentee Outlook would see it and update it was a real waste of time. The software itself later corrupted and quite simply could NOT be uninstalled from my system at that time a P3 500Mhz with 256 Meg Ram Sony simply couldnt help and just blamed my system!
I then bought a Sony MZ Ni Net walkman (very pricy) and the software supplied with this makes even my current system (A P4ht 3ghz with 1.5Gig of ram) slow down! but of course Sony tell me it's a problem with my system!!!!
I even had problems with the CD burning software they supplied with their own branded CD burners on another system I own (AMD 2800 1 gig ram)
Quite simply their software is below par poorly tested and they do not give a monkeys about it, we simply pay the price for crap development, My advice steer clear of the P800 ( I do not know if the P900 is better) The HP IPAQ and SE T610 are a perfect combo I get the best of everything without relying on lousy Sony software.
