10 working days ? what do they do with it, I live in Tenerife and am going back to UK next week for 2 weeks. I called SE to get service points in my area (Southend-on-sea) there is 3 in that area and they all said turn round time 40 mins

I have used Carphone warehouse in Wessex gate retail Park, Poole, Dorset for firmware updates and repairs for me SE phones and they have been very quick. I have also used a SE service centre in southampton but have forgotten their name.

Gittins communications on Pershore Road can't do the Updates, they say that the phones keep freezing when they try to do it. which is a pain as it's only about 2 minutes from my house!
also, why do people look at me blankly when I ask them about firmware updates? are they that unheard of?
