So That's why He's giving you the money, he voided the warranty by not going through official channels to unlock your phone. As i said before, take the money. Even he it is 60 quid, try and law a guilt trip by saying he shoulda told you it would void the warranty, maybe you'll get another 20.

so i takt it to the guy i buy it off and he puts me in a new screen. now 1 month on i have a new problem altho its been an ongoing prob for abotu 2 weeks. basicly the sim reader int eh phone wont read the sim propery it will read it to turn on but if i wanna send an sms or use the phoen for anything other then a pda i have to turn it on and off and then it ses insert sim so i have to take the sim out and lick it put it back in and then try again.
i also took it to gitten comms ont he persure rd and they sed it is water damaged(using the TV and bucket of water analagy) but sed the water damage has been there for a while now as its kinda spreading. hell my sim card is green(god knwos why) so he shoudl have spotted it when he replaced the screen.

looks like he damaged the phone if I put one and one together, when he replaced the screen.
