I have been a big fan of ericsson/sony ericsson , but i am really disapointed in what i have heard about the T68i!'s predecessor i really expected the nuts but all i got was an inferior 65k screen, unresponive camera and plagued with manufacturer faults. i remember when the T68i! first came out, esato's forum members had little or no complaints . So basically the T610 had alot to live up to.

Well... There is one thing you have to take into count.
T68i came out almost 6 months after the T68m had been on the market. The T68m had quite a few bugs.
In my opinion, you should never jump at the first batch of a new mobile phone. Wait for the second or third. By then most of the bugs, hw and sw have been squashed.

As it happens though, my phone is 03w19... Strange.
Ah well, keeps my record intact of never having owned a phone that worked perfectly.

the program - i think its good old phone settings is not "visible" or how to explain it on the CD but the installer puts it on your HDD anyway it does not make any shortcuts so you have to find it. I think its called SE phone settings or something like that.....

Well I'm not in the UK atm, so I don't have the opportunity to get it repaired/replaced. But I imagine it should be under warranty so the shop where you got it should replace it.
Fortunately I got my t610 for free (on £30/month contract), but had to pay £23 for 3 months lame Singlepoint insurance. Glad I did now though.
I'd be greatful if you let me know how you get on/what they say if you take it back.

You´ll find phonesettings.exe in the 'Communications Suite' folder on your HDD. If you want, just make a shortcut to it.
