Or the alternative is to look at a Nokia with their boring design and listen to their crappy ringtones. That would put anyone to sleep!

A simple way to close down the phone while charging is to use the key lock. Press the "more" & the "star" button & the little phone goes sleepy-byes after just a few seconds.

strange my light goes off, after a while, when charging! also I use auto lock so the screen turns of very quick...
