I am not a specialist or anything on portable gaming platforms, but i have tried the N-gage and even thoguh it is very nice i must say that the new Mopun 3-D platform that is being released for phone makers is almost as good. The graphics are better in N-gage but the pure gaming experience is awsome with Mophun 3-D. So in my opinion Mophun 3-D will present great gaming on a lot of ordinary phones. This will make it difficult for the N-gage. Nokia should have introduced the N-gage to the market a year ago when games in mobile phones were really bad. Now, actually already with ordinary Mophun, there are a lot of nice games out there which can be played on a more normal phones.

I agree with you Naar Great games make a great console, but I said is still true in every aspect of its specs the n-gage rocks over the GBA SP and that my friend is key, By having a much more powerful and versatile system you can make games that much better, for e.g. 3d games, at the moment very dufficult for the GBA SP to do, but easy on the n-gage, lets not go int multiplayer and stuff like that, just image a version of everquest or pokemon, or FF ONLINE OVER GPRS. I can read the headlines now, "Teen dies of starvation after marathon pokemon session."
and to the other poster who posted about screen colour, I have a p800 and have worked on 3650's alot and there screens are perfect for gaming, and photo's and much everything you can think, even camcorder looks good on p800, so colour isn't everything, it's how one uses the pallette of the machine to optimise the game playing experience.
As far back as I can remember, NO SYSTEM, HANDHELD OR CONSOLE launched with a very good line-up, the good stuff comes a few months after launch, some a few years after launch, and that might be the nail in the coffin for NOKIA, Hey I'm getting one just to try, but I know I'll be buying a PSP to keep.

But the sure thing is that the n-gage is a lot more powerful than the Advance

I know I'm right, I wasn't comparing them in the first place. Other people were, I was pointing out a simple fact. I work in the games industry and I can honestly say that I the N-Gage doens't pose a real threat to the GBA or PSP (though the PSP is unliekly to be released till about september 2004)
