I had similar problem with my old nokia (3330) once. I could use the phone, but the screen was all white no matter what I did. It turned out that I didn't clip the LCD on completely when I was putting the phone back together (yes I took it apart). After I opened it up again and clipped the LCD on properly it worked again. So, what I am trying to get to....maybe it's not the LCD itself that's damaged. Maybe it's just a contact.
By the way, check the production date on your phone. If it was produced less then a year ago take it to the
service center to be repaired under warranty (you won't need proof of purchase).

Alltogether yeah, since the screen works when it wants, it does sound like a bad contact, however, i just noticed that after i turn it on, make a call lets say, and let it sit, after say 3 minutes, its sort of dead. I do hear key clicks, but light doesnt go on, and i cant shut it down, only by removing the bat!
Another odd thing is that its not saying where it is produced on the sticker. Here is what it says on it:

No "made in....". w27 sounds like its pretty new, and it does look brand new. One of the screws does look like having a scratch on the paint. None of the numbers above matches with the IMEI read in the service menu (when the lcd was working) Actually that was why i turned it off, to compare the codes...

service center will be very helpfull if they find out.

I called the seller, and he directed me to a service shop, i called them and they said they will fix it for free...long wait till monday
I hope they are honest. Till then I have the phone on a long charge again..maybe it will work again
Maybe the electronics get warm and a contact is established

By the way, I recommend you edit your posts where you wrote your IMEI number and cover up parts (or all) of it. It's never a good idea to share the IMEI on internet.
