> Help me! SonyEricsson T610 or Samsung SGH-V200?

the V200 doesnt' support full MMS. and the battery runs flat easy. alot of people have the T610 so alot more people can help you if you had any probs, and
brings out alot of cool updates. samsung doesn't do that much. V200 may look cool but a friend of mine has it and he hates it now, he had a chance like you to choose between the V200 and T610, he choosed the V200 but he regreds it everyday. as soon as he can find somebody dumb enough to buy his V200 he'll buy a T610

Agree, agree. I used a Samsung V200 for a week or so -- nothing too exciting. The camera screen is very small. Plus, pictures are poor quality when uploaded to PC. Another example of style over function, with poor results.
And yes, the inability to add T9 words is more ridiculous than words could ever say. I couldn't even add my *own* name or my partner's name and had to resort to breaking them up into blocks of letters!

this is not always true, as this time last year i bought a t68i and my mate bought a Samsung t100 for the same price and his samsung is now worth far more than my t68i. We are both in the UK.
Also i think you should go for the t610. Mine is coming soon

That's because people don't know what's good for them
Would rather have a phone with a pretty screen that did nothing more than act as aesthetically-pleasing paperweight than a real phone.
Saying this, I know a lot of people who have the T68i just because it was free with contract and "looks pretty". Don't know what to do with it... *tut, sigh*

. I played with my cousin's T610 and it is a way better phone than the v200 !! I KNOW that even my t300 is better than a v200.... I can buy two T300 for the price of one v200. If not better, the t300 is on par with it. Also dont forget that the T610 is cheaper than the v200.

No problem I know what you mean. I still get the jokes now about why does a skoda have a heated back screen, so you keep you hands warm when you are pushing it and so on. And I have to admit that they have only become a serious proposition in the last three years. And I am sorry if it sounded like I was offended but I was not, you have to take everything in life a little light hearted, other wise you would hang yourself.

This is only a SE-forum. There are other forums that are much better for these kind of questions.In here people say they have had the V200 and they DON'T know that you van download ringtones(ref. in this topic)
My personal opinion:
If you want all the features that the T610 have , then you should buy it.
If you can do without BT, JAVA plus some more, go for the V200.
The screen on the V200 is MUCH better than the T610. And sound(both for ringing and listening)/speech is also better. The RF on the Samsung is better.
Batterylife is not as good(but you get an extra battery in the box plus datacable and handsfree).
SMS writing is not as fast, although the buttons are perfect.
You should try to get "hands on" with both and then make up your mind.

Yes, U CAN download ringtones thru WAP. I have done that with my fried's phone. The best way is 4 U to try the phone 4 urself, see which U like best
I LIKE the T610, not because I love
but because its a better and cheaper phone
