s55 has 4096 colours not 256.
i guess one advantage of the s55 to the t610 is the loudspeaker.

ThreeX what price is it in Sweden as I will be there on Saturday for 2 weeks, and if it is the same price as the T300 which over here is about £100 or 1200SEK then it will be a deffinate buy. And yes it does have 256 colour dispaly not 4000. It is basicaly a T68i in a different shell but with the added benefit of being able to upgrade it your self. Anyone using theirs with the HBH-30 BT headset and if so what is it like, sound wise.

Get the Siemens S55. It's a neat little phone with everything you need. My girlfriend uses one and loves it. It is a 256 colour screen though, a bit grainy compared to the T610. You should get the camera included if you buy from Orange which also has a built in flash. Picture quality is the best I've seen when downloaded to PC. Orange charge £30 for it now on upgrade.
My sympathy goes to you concerning your dealings with Orange. I'm trying to get my T610 replaced on Orange but they're having none of it. I need a fault code first from Orange which should take 3 days max. It's now been over a week. Orange suck

My girlfriend uses the Siemens S55 with the HBH30 headset. Sounds clear as a whistle. Very good combo.

Sorry Freak I read it wrong. As for Orange, I have been with Orange for 4 years and have never had a problem, had a few problems with handsets, does everyone remember the 7110, I had six replaced. As for a fault code, I do not see why it should take three days to get one. I have just had a phone replaced, when I rang to get it replaced they did not have the same model in stock, so sent me an interim model, I had a T300 and they sent a T200 as there were no T300's in stock. They have just called this morning to say they do not know when they are going to recieve new stock, so are sending a T310 instead. Fair enough the phone was stolen but it is still a replacement, and all other phones I have had faults with, have all been replaced after a breif call where they ask a few questions to see if it is a phone fault. All in all I have always had a very good service from Orange.
