Totally dim, it is a misery that such a sophisticated phone falls down on so many basic functions. Can I ask please did you use the close apps facility on handyday ? Or is closing apps just something you are doing now on Sman ? Thanks.

yeah i used handyday to close apps... but that's the only thing i used it for and it was always running so i didn't see the point!

so that's what i use SMan for but that isn't running all the time

I thought that the manual said that the built in applications entered a suspended state when they lost focus so that they didn't consume unnecessary battery power.

If you have third party apps that do not suspend then it is not the fault of the phone that there is no close button it is thr fault of the application designer.

eDoom has an exit option on the menu and so do some other apps that I have tried.

I like the fact that you can switch quickly between apps without having to go through their startup everytime.
