I was suppose to have recieved my Upgrade T610 almost two weeks ago, but singlepoint O2 have been out of stock. Today, i phoned Singlepoint O2 and asked them why it is taking so long to obtain stock. The customer sales advisor told me that he had spoken to a person who works for O2 and that guy said that O2 have sent all their stock back to SE and are waiting for a new batch. And the reason why the stock was sent back was because O2 (sim card issue i think) doesnt work too well with the T610.

Ummm...

So is it a problem with 02? Is it their wap sites that are messing it up? Maybe I can get them to pay for fixing it.

Ive bought a credit to flash my phone, does anyone think it will work? Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it themselves? You know the way I got the phone from ebay, do you think it is possible to bring it to CPW or a different retailer and get them to fix it for a fee?

Thanks for the help.

I flashed my phone and still nothing. I can't believe this. The phone is totally Dead.

Has anyone ANY suggestions? How could visiting an 02 wap site destroy the phone soo badly? I dont understand it.

Can anyone help me?

Woohoo! I've finally got my phone back after two and a half weeks. CPW did not send it off after all, they just reflashed it (R1L). All is fine now, except for a corrupt background pic of the classic theme, which I cant replace... This message was posted from a T610

This happened to me also. I held down the power button, then the PIN screen showed up, then it switched off (probably cause I was holding down the power button!)

After that it booted fine, but I had an extra 30k. Couldn't figure out where it had come from, so I though maybe something had been deleted/corrupted. I started deleting things, but then after loading a Java game, I noticed I'd lost the 30k again.

So I guess maybe that 30k was a 'scratchpad' for Java or something.

I hope it doesn't do it again...

I had a similar thing happen on my orange t610 when I got it flashed to the R1L firmware.. all seems to be fine... though keeps screwing up the GPRS settings which is annoying...

Finally! I'm getting my T610 back this week. Well not the same one but an exchange from SE. Over 6 weeks after I sent it in but hopefully this one will be OK (knowing my luck it will be a week 16 with hissing!). I just need to get my firework charger replaced now!
