Its odd - all these differences in experience.
I get no problems with BT or backlight.
I wonder if these differences are to do with third-party s/w? I use: Tracker, Opera, Mobipocket, Handy Safe & Base. I always try to close-down apps that I am not using.

where did you get the firmware update was it from a proper place. If not that could be your pronblem your phone seems to be really shit now. R2F was the best thing to happen to my p800 why dont you buy a new p800?

well i bought the phone from where i work
i dont know where it was flashed, i got it like that but it wasnt brand new.
well what i will do is get a new one but on the older firmware, then get it flashed myself by going to a genuine place
just a bit of my area at the moment, the local one that is

@akashj
You know that Organge France announced the P810 for October launch?
Is it worth waiting for the P810 instead of buying a new P800 ? You could tell us all how much better than the P800 it is!!

well i got a replacement today
mint p800 with r2f
works perfectly
nice battery no crashes no tods and all my software runs fine
so it was just a dodgy firmware/phone i think
anyway as for the p810, we always get new phones atwork so i'll buy that too but only for a 2 day staff purchase, test and review, and then send it back for a refund
