Screensaver is already very fast with R1L firmware, just make sure you delete the screensaver on your phone and transfer back to your T610 again .....then you will notice the speed changes !

@ Send SMS via IR or BT:

What's the point? IR has a 2-3m range, BT max of 10m. If you really want to pass things back and forth, compose a note then send that via BT.

What's really irritating is that when replying to a message, pressing joystick in sends the message instead of accepting the word (T9) like it normally does (new message)

Strange that nobody mentioned the Java MIDP2 or Sockets/BlueTooth jsrs. It really would be great to be able to use telnet/irc/whatever..

@orangeman

yeah, i know that you can change your homepage. But what i ment was; giving you the option that you can assign other things then internet (wap) to that button, like the calendar, bleutooth on/off, sms templates, ...

SMS by IR, how stupid! " stand in front off me, i'm gonna send you a message", euhm, just SPEAK? (It could be handy to cheat on an a school-test, but there are other options there)

I suggest you try sending this list or page to Sony Ericsson support of UK.. they seemed to be helpful. Go to Sony Ericsson UK's web page and send it under support with the T610 in phone and blah..

One more wish:
When taking low resolution pictures (120x160), it seems that camera is only using 120x160 pixels in the center if the CCD (or less than 1/4 of the CCD area!). Wouldn't it be much better to take the image using all the pixels and then resample it? Large pictures (352x288) are already resampled when viewed on the phone, so it should be possible to do the same when saving them... with the new firmware

I would really like to use small pictures in MMSes, but now images taken with 120x160pix mode are worthless!

Landlines too can recive SMS's, you just need a phone what can recieve them. So it wouldn't be such a good idea to automaticaly select the mobile phone number under a phone book entry.

when the contact has more then one number stored, it is ok to confirm witch number you want, to send the SMS.

But when the contact has only 1 Phonenumber, why confirm the one and only number he has, and confirm again to send?
