I first thought it was really ugly. Even the dummy looked bad in my eyes. I also was focused on the SX1. Then I saw this photoshoot (http://www.mobilmania.cz/Mobilnitelefony/AR.asp?ARI=104785&CAI=2109) at Mobil Mania and especially this picture.

I started to really like the looks of it. When I finally saw a real one, I just had to get it. I think the photo's by SE were pretty ugly and a dummy isn't the same as the real thing, so mostly we get wrong impressions.

Btw. I'm really happy with my T610, it's the best phone I ever owned. But I still hope that SE will use the Z7 or Z700 design again, maybe with the T610 software.

It's been the same story over and over for me I'm sceptical of the
looks when I seen them on the pictures but when I seen them IRL
it's a total diffrent story... hmm same story with some girls I first seen

(btw I think T68i is one of the ugliest phones on photos but IRL they
look real good, and I love the looks of my T610)

p.s I really think T620 looks ugly but I won't take that as a fact untill
I seen it in real life.

Well I must say that i bought my t610 for the features/price ratio and not for the looks..
It has risen from "Oh my god.. obviously they fired the entire design department" to acceptable in my eyes. I still think the proportions are out of whack with the giant display and small keypad. It´s a visual "problem" though, as i have no problems handling it.
Still on the wish list though is carbon fibre top half and more scratch resistant display! I really baby my phones and still my t610 display looks worse than both ME45 and S55!? (Which I still prefer looks-wise btw)
Don´t get me wrong, on the whole i am happy with my t610, i just (still) don´t find it stunningly beautyful

EDIT: I think it would look much better if the aluminum front was as high up as the battery cover on the back..if you know what I mean, hard to explain without showing

designs will always evolve, and we'll have to get used to it, just like when the T610 was 1st announced ( i couldn't get used to the shape> & design ..especially sice the T610 was announced to be the succesor of the T68.

Now, i like the T610 cos of its square-ish/boxy(box-like) look + brushed metallic finish.

..same thing for the Z600/P900/T620 too. Eventually, we will like the designs that we thought sucked at 1st.

And the T620: I thought it was too cheap-looking when i saw the 1st pictures posted on Esato, but with the latest pics by @Eldar showing the combination of metal with plastic, i am starting to like the T620 too.

u guys r like them people who say " I didnt like that song at first but its grown on me"....arrrgh!

within hearing the first few seconds of a song I know im gonna like it...

within looking at a girl in a club for the first two seconds I know im gonna enjoy/like that

within the FIRST second looking at the T610 I knew that was the phone for me - f**k the features....

its all about being a styler.....

Nothing grows on me, I either like it or i dont - simple.
