with the demo version of Wayfinder you can only generate routes, you have no navigation capability.
You select New Search and select Origin and then selkect "From search" from the menu. Then from the search screen input street and post code data. When Wayfinder find the address select the triangle icon, which tells Wayfinder this is the Origin (I know this does not sound logical!). Do the same for Destination (once you have selected an Origin you are returned to the New Search screen from where you can select the Destination. Once you have selected a destination (checkered flag icon) you select the icon for route generation from the New Search screen.
I suggest you contact Wafinder and ask for a user manual.
With the full product this is much easier as you do all search etc using a web component and download the addresses as Favorites.
