> T610 + silent = draining battery??

Could be just a coincidence that the battery has failed at the same time you've gone back to school?
I know if the battery receives a knock (ie. dropping it) it can damage the cells inside causing it not to hold a full charge.
On average I only get about 3-4 days out of mine with minimal usgae. Not as good as my faithfull
T68i. Still a nice phone though.

Ive started using that just about when the battery time started sucking actually...
Ill try to charge the phone without the CDS-11 tonight..
its blinking red atm and should die out soon enough;)
and btw marksurry, I havent dropped the phone once yet!

Check if your have an ongoing GPRS session. Even if you have no internet like apps running, the connection can be alive and it'll do a check on network every 2 or 3 minutes. That drains battery a lot.
Usualy the display has a small globe on one of top corners when it is connected, check it.
If it does not solve it, you can try to reset the phone, but i think it looses all info.

when I think about it it has started happening after Ive used that, earlier Ive just charged without it, and had regular battery life.
And no there hasnt been a globe up at the top like there is when youre GPRS wapping.
keylock is always on, so I guess it is a possible reason too, but it was on before the battery life kinda died too.
Im thinking the desktop charger gotta go;)

I don't want to dissapoint you but I had the same problem with my t68i. It drained the battery in less than 48hrs even when the phone was off. I went to a SE servise center and it turned out that some moisture creeped into the phone and it destroyed a chip. I was very surprised because I take very good care of my phone, never dropped any water on it or anything. Anyway the phone was damaged beyond repair and needed replacement, so I went and bought the t610! I'm happy now!

well, I do have it in the bathroom while taking a shower now and then, but I usually open the window too, so there aint that much steam in the room

Bit off topic - did anyone notice that t610 uses far more battery when turned off (at night), compared to when it is turned on. Maybe it is just my phone...
